Event & Education VISTA

I originally come from the most visited countries in Asia – Viet Nam, where architectural masterpiece, Golden Bridge lifted by two massive “hands of God” was designed and inaugurated. Coming from the beautiful and natural country, I see plants as my buddies and make a true friendship with the Earth. Through the idea of Zero Waster Home from Lauren Singer (owner of Simply Co.), I am inspired to keep things simple and creating a quality and fulfilling life. In addition, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh is my favorite Vietnamese monk, who teaches me mindfulness to feel the happiness in each moment. One of the impressive quote from him is that “Everyone is a lotus of the Earth. We have to walk in a way that we only print peace and serenity on the Earth. Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.” I found Urban
Harvest STL and admire the great mission about protecting the natural environment and helping
people to live in a healthy life. I feel myself very lucky to be a part of an awesome team.

I earned the Bachelor degree in Accounting at Hoa Sen University in Viet Nam and Master
degree in Finance at Webster University in Missouri. I was employed by Webster University as a
Graduate Assistant and Wells Fargo Advisor as a Product Specialist. In my spare time, I love to
involve in the volunteering events and developing programs. I was a council of Diversity and
Conclusion, a mentee of the Regional Business Council, an intern at Ameren, a member of the
Walker Edge Career program. I am also passionate in yoga, dancing, sewing, and craft. I am a
member of Joy of Yoga, an administrative assistant at Consumer Kinetics Dance Company, and
part-time education trainer at Joann fabric and craft.
