Work Study: Urban Farmer
Natalia is a sophomore studying at Saint Louis University. Inspired by her mom’s vegetable garden, she has been interested in sustainable and healthy ways to grow food from a young age. As a Nutrition and Dietetics major, she hopes to work to address current issues with conventional food production. She believes that it is important to make healthy, whole foods accessible to all people in an effort to combat diet-related illnesses as well as be more environmentally-conscious. She became involved with Urban Harvest in the fall of 2018 in an effort to get involved in community outreach programs in St. Louis as well as learn techniques to grow her own food.
