CLARE HIGGINS SIEGEL
Clare serves as the chief advocate of Urban Harvest STL and works tirelessly to champion our cause, steward our mission and develop community partnerships to expand the reach of our programs and impact in alignment with our strategic vision. She first learned of Urban Harvest STL as an employee of U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation, where she worked for eight years. There, she championed U.S. Bank’s support of Urban Harvest STL and helped secure a contribution that accelerated the FOOD ROOF Farm’s completion. She also fell back in love with urban agriculture, having previously interned with New Roots Urban Farm in St. Louis. Before joining our staff, Clare served on our board of directors for two years, during which time she regularly explored new opportunities that could benefit the organization and the broader community, including expansion to Flance Early Learning Center. Most recently, she led fundraising and capacity building efforts as our Development Manager. She looks forward to leading the organization into our next chapter as we continue to strengthen and secure healthy and affordable food access for all St. Louisans.
