Motivated by the ability of art and agriculture to unite communities, Kayla acquired a B.A. in Fine Arts: Photography with a minor in Biology from Milligan College. Following college, Kayla spent three years working alongside the World Race, G42 Leadership Academy, and Waseda International Christian School. Her diverse international experience with organizations combating social injustices, has shaped her understanding of the necessity for sustainable agricultural to ensure thriving communities. In returning to St. Louis, Kayla interned with Urban Harvest STL. Her position with Urban Harvest STL allows her to cultivate her passion for sustainability and equipping local visionaries, while using her experience in art and community development to further the vision of UHSTL.
