Now more than ever, it is critical to provide these beneficial pollinators a habitat free of pesticides, full of nectar and pollen resources, and a safe home.

This workshop will provide an overview on what it takes to get started. Please bring your bee questions and curiosity to this discussion of bee biology, equipment and tools, stings and protective clothing, and resources for continued learning.

Jennifer McComb is in her seventh year keeping honey bees, mostly in St Louis City. Her bee picture diary may be seen on Instagram here.
